I'm sure you've heard all the talk about the new Daylight Saving Time and that it will affect your computer.  Some of you may not know how to fix it.  If you have Automatic Updates turned on, you will most likely get the update (you will know for sure when you get to Step 4).  If you are not sure, here are my simple instructions on how to do this (click here to forward this link to all your friends and family).

If you have Windows 2000 Professional with Service Pack 4, click here to follow the instructions.

1. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD THE UPDATE FILE

2. Choose SAVE
   
    

3. Click DESKTOP on the left-hand-side and click SAVE
   
    

4. Go to your Desktop and double-click that file (WindowsXP-KB931836-x86-ENU.exe)
   
   
   You may get a Security Warning, if so, click RUN
   
   
   AT THIS STEP YOU WILL KNOW IF YOU ALREADY HAVE THIS UPDATE INSTALLED
   
   
   If you got this error, click OK and continue to Step 9.
   If you did not get this error, please continue to Step 5.
    

5. You will see this Wizard, click NEXT
   
    

6. Choose I AGREE and click NEXT
   
    

7. The install will start to begin
   
    

8. When the Update is finished, click FINISH
   
    

9. Delete that Update File you downloaded in Step 1 from your Desktop
   (right-click the file and choose Delete, click YES to confirm the deletion)
    

That's it, you are now up-to-date!!
